Hey guys,

We are two brothers from France. We were looking for a car that has relative simple mechanics and that we can repair ourselves. Since, mechanical parts are quite easy to find (even in France), and that we have a specialised shop 15km away from my home, the classic Mini sounded perfect. And Mini it has been !

It's been three years since we bought our Mini British Open from 92 (carburettor version). A young old lady that accumulated 130,000 kilometres of road and dust ! The Mini has traveled quite a bit with me (little brother) since I did some road trips up to Norway, and a other one in south-eastern countries of France.

We heard that this forum was the best, and most active forum to get advise on Mini problems. So here we are ! Still we hope to be useful as well.
