Hi

Im rebuilding my Turbo engine after ~10 years of use and have come to the cam timing.

As I understand many of you use MG Metro cams and time it to 108
I have the std Metro Turbo cam (I think *smiley*), is 108 the number to go for?

(Looking at my notes from when I built 10 years ago, I aimed for 105. Why, I dont know.)

Have a nice day!

Regarding chain stretch.

If aiming for 108 some say set at 106 and some say 110.....

Which is right!?

My thoughts is that the number will go up when the cain stretch, so if I want 108 Ill set it at 106 if I expect 2 degrees stretch.
Is that correct?

I want 106 when it's settled, so I use 105ish on the MG Metro cam.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.
