Does anyone know OD of a Mini Drive Shaft pretty please?

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Later "economy" models with 2.95 final drives had a small diameter shaft. No idea why, maybe TurboDave might know or have an idea why.

They are linked to vented discs n 4 pots but god knows what they were originally for? But ive never seen such thin ones before n ive seen loads of shafts!

The reason for the thin shafts on the 2.95 city E might have simply been a cost saving as they concluded that the mighty torque of a 998 with such a tall effective 1st gear, would allow for a reduction in torsional stiffness with no negligable effect.
Fact is, the mini shafts at 1" dia are way more than a 998 will ever need.
