Melbourne Australia ... not a convict

Changed the oil and filter, modded the bonnet hook to clear the oil cooler, modded the bonnet latch to clear the airfilters and made an adjustable oil pressure relief now runs 65 psi cold and 55 psi hot idle. Found I have oil being blown out the dipstick but not sure what to do with that just yet, hopefully after a few hundred k's it settles down as it's only a fresh engine.

What breathers are you running?

First mini turbo to get in the 12's & site perv

Herefordshire

Indeed, more or less restrictive breathers required

Although you could probably drop that oil pressure to 30-40psi hot, but it wouldn't do anything for your breathing issue

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

What's the oil pressure when driving ? If it's that high at idle, it's most likely excessive when running.

Put a spring on the dipstick to hold it in and stop the oil coming out.

Worked for me.

ok ... I have a breather on the primary housing and one off the rocker cover both 1/2 in id oil resistant hose into a 1/2 in pcv into no:3 inlet port.
oil pressure is 65 psi idle cold, 55 idle hot, 65 psi @ 4k rpm hot.
Might use a spring, sounds like a low tech solution and this I like.
Still running it in but I have noticed it's only " wet" down the front after a 6500 rpm rev limit run. today it got loaded up with some left foot braking at different road speeds, never got to 5k or above.
