Good evening
Before I build the last bits on my engine I need some advice
My car is registered September 1992 which means it's a carb with a cat unfortunately, one month earlier wouldn't have needed one. So that means emissions are tighter. So can I pass an mot on emissions with a turbo engine or am I going to have to scrap the turbo ?

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

It's a carb model with a cat..... Bin the cat off and make sure the tester is using the appropriate test for the VIN. The VIN will identify the car would have had a Carb engine, and there is no in service data for it, as such, the Basic Emissions Test should be carried out, which is pretty much just the same as Pre August 1992
