I'm in the market for a dash cam, I don't want to cheap out on some poor model that you find hasn't recorded when you need it, or one that has the video quality of a potato. Amazon reviews seem all over the place; how can so many models have 8-10% of folks call something garbage and 15% of folks call something 5 stars - with many simply being the anonymous "amazon user"...

To be fair, I think most are pretty good these days.

A clip I found of mine...TBH youtube seems to make it worse quality than it really is.
