Was scouring the net yesterday and noticed these. Look quite good and would be a lot brighter than the normal. I used to have halogens before and they were pretty good but sold them on. Anyone used them? Not sure how they would fare mot time and if they’re strictly legal? Cheers for any help

Not used them. I’ve seen them on a few cars though and always thought they should go in the bin lol. They look to modern on a mini.

Ha. I know what you mean. I can’t make my mind up if they’d look amazing or terrible.

I run 80/100w halogens, but you do need to look at the wiring and add relays.

Maybe with a bit of that fly eye headlight tint stuff over the top it would hide the weirdness.

These and the compound LED ones look ok on a Landy but don't seem to look right on a mini. But I like the idea of modern headlights on a mini.

You can get these direct from china for about £60 delivered

My dad got a set for his triumph rocket off ebay and one was a different colour / tint when on, slight yellow look compaired to the bright white the other had and then one died the next day!!!

Anything not OEM has been said to not look right on a Mini by some. I think that's bullshit and you should do what you want even if these headlights are not yet common.

We tried a cheap one at work, they flickered badly and look terrible. We have another UK sourced one to try shortly...

My dad got a replacement set for his bike and they work well for now...

I suppose if you have a set of spotlights it wont be too bad incase they fail on you

They are bright and give a nice light off
