The clutch on my mini is starting to slip. Which one would you guys recommend please?

Metro turbo engine, standard apart from different pistons but not sure which.
Road use and track days.
I will be doing some mods in the future so it would be nice if it were able to cope with that too if possible.
If poss i didnt want a paddle clutch plate.

The mini spares website lists an uprated pressure plate. Would this be the one to go for? http://minispares.com/product/Classic/Clut...ack%20to%20shop

I will probably get a lighter flywheel and new push rod, arm, oil seal etc. Anything else worth changing while i am getting oily?

Thanks

With a standard engine, I see no reason to go mad with the clutch.

The parts you have linked should be up for the job.

Edited as it was fooking nonsense!

MED do some reasonably priced kits for a Verto clutch ready to fit with flywheel. They’re also balanced which you would have to do if you just bought the bits from minispares.

If your thinking of going for more than around 120bhp I would consider making up an RTS (twin spring verto).

Thanks guys.

Just spent ages looking at all the shiny bits on the med website!

I use a med lightened verto flywheel and two 1275 springs as that's what I had on the spares shelf. (RTS) I havent manged to get it to slip yet at 20psi.
Although the head gasket did let go 😂
