First thing I'd check is if it has a thermostat in it. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

What are you using to measure the water temp ? The standard guessometer or a proper gauge ?

The last owner sais it has a thermostat, and I presume that it works ok. He knows about the issue and sais he had the watertemperature checked and it was ok. When it gets higher the electric fan kicks in. So it seems like the gauge (original Metro Turbo) reeds or shows too little. The temp sensor would be my first guess and it's not very expensive, so maybe buy and fit that first. Edited by Yoda74 on 30th Mar, 2018. |
