Australia oi oi oi!

Hi Gentlemen!

Can anyone help me out with photos on how you did your radiator mounting & plumbing.

I'm a little stuck, Once I can sort this out I can start it! :)

it's kinda just sitting in place right now until i can sort it out.

I have the bottom hose sorted fine, Im not sure what to do with the top house & overflow tank etc etc.

Not done any custom radiator stuff before.. surely it can be that hard.

Pretty simple!

Same as your old rad. Top hose in top bottom hose in bottom.

Then you need somewhere to fill it. Usually put a pressurised header tank in the heater line and T it back into top hose or into a thermostat spacer that you have linked. I’d run an expansion tank off the header tanks cap outlet to.

With a removable front end, I'm not sure how much this will help, but this is what ours looks like (dirtier now!).

Edit:

Just realised how old that image is, coil-overs and 4-pot/vented breaks have since been changed out!

Ok , Thanks. I roughly get how you pipe it up.. i'll give it a go & report back before I go to the next step. starting it up ha.

Do I really Need a sandwich plate? Or can i just T it back into the pipes?

I have a head tank as well.

You can T it in no problem. It’s what I have done on my front mount.

No, the only reason I left mine in was because I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the heater. I drilled the left-hand outlet and run it through the manifold to the heater. You can't see it in that picture (because I hadn't fitted it) but the return from the heater is just T-ed back into the return to the pump.

I have no heater

can see the T here line just through turbo first instead of a heater

different header can see outlet of header goes to expansion tank to help self bleed.
