Logic has left the building. Now I know a lot of you on here race minis across the wide spectrum of competitions our beloved car is eligible for. So can someone answer me if this part can be used on their cars and if not why. If it makes life easier and is not performance enhancing save doing what it says on the box why would it not be slowed?

Huh. I never knew it existed... I’ve better things to spend 30 quid on, but it looks interesting.

Cut down long shank bolt and nut does exactly the same.

I went back to the roll pin as it’s spring steel and durable. Still a bit of a bugger to hammer in and out but made easier with the correct punch*frown*

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Agree on the punch. Every time I put in a major MS order, I add the roll pin punch to the list, so I usually have one in several locations. I also spray the knurled handle red so that I can easily see it in the tool box.

Roll pin and lock wire is what I always use. Lock wire was added after the pin falling out and being stuck in 2nd. Never found it hard with the right size punch to put in or take out

Don't see why not, but I've never had any issue with a good punch. From memory select reverse gear puts the pin at a convenient angle/position to give it a pisser with a hammer.
