Heard thru the grapevine off a few different people that this year is the last year that rwyb will be happening at mitp?

Mitp at pod has been dieing the last couple years... if this is true then it just flat lined i.m.o

It doesn't surprise me. We were all young fellas when it was at it's peak. If I was young now, I doubt I'd be tuning a mini.

It is true, the scene has changed. Its no longer about how powerful or fast you can make the Mini, its all about shiny bits, excessive camber, how low dare you go, and stretched tyres, or how much rusty shit you can strap to the exterior without it falling off like Kerplunk when you open the doors

The auto jumble is pretty shit too. I offered a guy a tenner for a 5AS alarm box with no fobs, ooh maybe 3 years ago. Nah, he wanted £30. I bought one for a fiver from the guy that I bought new fobs from and programmed it. I'm sure he still has the one i would have paid £10 for in his pile of rusty shit.

The whole scene is shit.

Its still 4 runs for £20 this year again, despite the complaints and changes the past two years (Simon might be alright though as 2 runs is all he needs to break it *Nerd*). There is no live entertainment this year either, that said, its no real loss as it was shit last year.

I told them straight, "might as well take the show back to Cornbury Park", as its just a static show and shine.

last year for us I think, too little club attendance, too many bm's and such variable quality of traders, also the price is just steadily going one way..
