I need to make some new brake lines to accommodate a proportioning valve, but i cant seem to get a clear answer on the type of flare to use. am i correct in saying a male fitting requires an SAE single flare and a female fitting requires a double flare.

Double flare on all kunifer/copper lines, single flares are only used on steel lines. |
