I need a rear / tail housing from a T5 gearbox and they seem non existent in the googling, so figured I’d try some wanted ads instead.

Cheers,

Passionford dot com is the only one I could find earlier this year that at least has a dedicated subforum for the Sierra/Sapphire Cossies.

(I had a sudden urge earlier this year to rebuild mine).

It also has a dedicated subforum for wanted, https://passionford.com/forum/cars-and-parts-wanted-24/ but you have to be a paid member to access the buy/sell parts of the forum.

I'm not sure how good it is though, I registered earlier this year and my first post is still awaiting moderation....

But it was the only forum I could find that had members still actively talking about them, there's not many about even in the UK - apart from going to a Ford show, I've only seen one on the road in the last 5 years.
If you find a better forum, let me know....

Is the rsownersclub forum not still active? It’s been a good 10 years since I had my Cosworth

This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting.

Indeed it is, now that I've googled specifically under that title - it didn't come up on google earlier this year when I did a much more generic search.

Can't see anything at all without registering so until I do that I won't know how useful it is....

Seems a current trait on a lot of these forums - no access without registering then find out what you have to pay to access any useful bits.

Earlier this year I registered with the Focus ST owners club (because I'd just bought one, hence my renewed enthusiasm for getting the Cossie back on the road) and you have to pay for access to any of the technical sections, loads of people moaning about it and saying use Facebook instead for buying/selling. Apparently there are dedicated forums on Facebook for most of the Ford performance stuff but I don't use Facebook (out of principle) so I've never looked.

Or a guy recently selling complete on the V8 Forum ( may need to register lol )

https://www.v8forum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=15161

Is the Cossie tail section different from any generic T5 ?

Complete new ?

Turbosports would be another. It's mainly older Fords etc...but many would be in the same circles and Cossie engines would be popular there.
