Hi where do I buy a new piston and spring that’s goes in the valve housing on my engine or do I blank it off as have a Bailey dump valve? . It’s worn and leaking, and who sells new plenum baskets as I have now taken it apart? Thanks as always

Many block it off, or the old bodge used to be to pack the spring with 5p pieces to make it heavier!
Gasket im not sure if you can buy it any more. Easy to make from gasket paper though.

Why do you block it off is this why my car sounds like a steam train? Loads of boost noise before bailey dump valve goes off? Alex

Yep, it releases at about 10 psi, so anything over that and it's just leaking boost.

It's not a dump valve as such it's an overboost blow off to prevent damage in a standard motor. As suggested block it off if you plan on running more than about 8-9psi.
