Hi.

Can Anybody give me an idea of the size of back box-RC-40 or Twin dtm??
I am looking to put a "18" box with a "7" tailpipe in??
Can this be done? I would like to try and build my own or it will be a case of a custom exhaust builder!


Ps. exhaust will be coming out rear left off subframe.

Sounds doable,

I built a rear box approx 40cm long with plenty of room to spare, I used a pair of 30 degree mandrel bends, some perforated tube and the outer from an old carbon bike can and a pack of wadding.

I think I used a 2.25" bend, then 2.3/8" perfotsted tube then a 2.5" bend to they all slotted together before welding.

Ok cool.. just working a bit blind..lol. must admit i like the look of the Escort Rs Turbo.. mongoose system..if i can fit that back box i will😁

Ive got to go to the garrage tonight I'll take a tape measure.
