Guys, needs some guidance as I am stuck with this.

I have assembled the flywheel assy on the crank and to me it seems the clutch releas plunger is out in a way I haven't seen before:

With the overthrow nut completely screwed in there is 7mm of throw.

I have lightly ground the flywheel on the nose, thoroughly cleaned it and when looking at the way the flywheel boss mates to the crank it seems to be in the right way (pic is after tightening @150Nm):

I measured the spring fingers to front of boss and there is just over 1mm difference when comparing to old flywheel.

This is an verto flywheel that works with inertia starter (don't think that has anything to do with it)
It was slightly lightend, assembled and balanced by a reputable builder.
The release bearing is new from MS and on correct way.

Also there is only about 1mm of throw between plunger completely out and touching the trust sleeve

Am I worrying to much?
What are your thoughts?

Thanks, Han

maybe you have to rotate the lever, as the knuckle to the plunger is under an angle.. easy try!

Thanks for your reaction Bart
Not sure what you are trying to tell me about rotating the lever though?
The lever can only be put in in one position for the slave to work.(?)

I think I will take the flywheel off, put original on and check the differences.

Cheers, Han

Are you sure there's a issue there? Have you not got anymore adjustment on there?
