Attached a picture of my carb connections, getting fuel up to the carb but not the other side?
Plenum to top of fuel regulator
Braided hose is fuel in
Other two are blanked off

Plenty of choke nothing - plugs dry as a bone
Easy start down the intake nothing
If I remove one of the blanks and the blank on the inlet manifold and spray abit of easy start down there she runs 🤨
But still no fuel getting to the plugs
Any ideas

T-piece won't help in this situation. Normally I'd suggest your float valve is stuck shut, but as easy start down the throat won't work are you sure your carb piston is free to move?

yep moves freely, was stripped and cleaned
funnily enough have just checked the float valve, and gave it a little adjustment that puts it just before it overflows
t piece didnt work so back to square one!

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

Lake District

Pictures of your reg connections would help. There shouldn’t be anything at all blanked off on the reg.

Spec;
GT17 on mirage manifold
Gonzo standard plenum for getting it running
OEM metro turbo carb thoroughly cleaned
Performance inlet manifold

Mpi fuel tank
8mm fuel lines (feed and return clear and tested)
3.5 psi at the carb end would lead me to believe the Reg is ok
(But real test is rising pressure with boost right?)

Moving on it’s running nodiz with MED trigger wheel/damper
Phase 2 cam

& runs on easy start bypassing the carb *oh well* (video link above via vimeo)
Googled with some similar stories but know answer at the end of any of the threads!

First mini turbo to get in the 12's & site perv

Herefordshire

If you remove the plenum does it start then?
I am wondering if some of the holes are blocked between carb/plenum.

How did you get the 3.5psi?
I always put an inline gauge so the carb is being fed whilst measuring it.
If your carb is blocked, this setting may be incorrect.

Hi, I seam a very similar problem, the project has been in the garage for a few years with no work being done, I had a megajolt which a dully fitted & we have brilliant spark, got fuel at the carb but the plugs are dry, can't see anything wrong in the carb although I have not pulled it apart yet. Got a bit of a backfire with easy start being squirted in the inlet, same with a bit of fuel down the pots, perplexed to why it wont start ?.

Crap, thought that was going to be a solution! Haha :)
Will have another play on the weekend
I pulled apart the carb, upped the float, all airways on the carb are clear
Plenum on or off still nothing
Look forward to finding out the issue

I was hoping that you had solved it !!, I'm going pull the carb off later, pull it apart and rebuild it with a service kit, the odd thing is when engines have been reluctant to start in the passed a few CC's down the bores normally gets them going but in this instance nothing.

Did you get it going ? I have been through all the options I can think of:

Carb removed, striped & cleaned out all ok
Compression all in the green
Brilliant spark
Trigger wheel in the correct position, we have advanced & retarded the ignition
Cam timing ok .
All options from the coil pack to the plugs.

I have not checked is fuel pressure as squirting a few CC's down the bores normally gets a resultant engine to fire, unless there is something wrong with the timing.

It still won't fire, very frustrating
