Went to Santa Pod on Sunday and happened to pair up against Simon (MadMk1). Sadly we didn't get a proper contest as Simon blew a coolant hose mid track. He had earlier run a 12.4/110 and I managed 12.2/110. I'd still concede the title to Simon, since I run slicks and NOS,but great fun*happy**Clapping*

Incredible time! Nic ran a 12.9 was it? And the Don has done an 11.2 and was MOTd at one point because its been discussed on here before. Simon says he still has more to come for next year! So I expect some quicker times yet

Christ alive!

That’s an impressive time, well done.
Low terminal too so there should be loads more to come.
I’d be interested to see the 60ft and 1/8th times

12.59 was my quickest on road tyres.
(12.45 on slicks (edit: I don’t think this time can be included))

Well done Simon, I would have given up if I were you with all the effort it took to get there.

Good to see you again at the weekend mate 👌

Shame we did not get a good clean run as it would be good to pace off you up the track.

There is always next year 👌👌

Just done a check on the RR. Saw 205 bhp at about 20 psi boost, then added the NOS and saw 275 bhp. Both at the flywheel, and about 235 lbf ft torque with the NOS. Pleased with that, though it needed 3 of us in the car to stop the wheelspin! *Cloud 9*

Very good numbers!

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Went to the Pod yesterday with the slicks swopped for 888s, so sort of street tyre, and ran a best of 11.9/114 and 1.7 60ft. Well pleased. *Cloud 9*

Like I said on Instagram, Cracking Time mate 👌👌 glad you’re getting some good track time mate.

I am glad I took this year out, as the engine would of had a full melt down! It’s never good when your pistons rock front to back and side to side within the bore! Lol

But next year we will be back to push a little more.

Simon.

I am always game for a laugh mate 👌, your car is always good to see run, as it hooks up well and goes.

Just a shame we did not have a clean run last time.

I worked out what the drama was in the post-mortem the water pump plug had s””t it’s self so I was cooking on the line, so mid trick when the temps went up, the hose went!.

Also the teardown has showed up a lot of stuff that was Just hanging in there..... I found out why my RTS was slipping when I was on full boost mid track, the centre of the flywheel has deformed.

But I will be back and out next year all being well 👌👌

Going after them numbers lol.

Regards simon.
