So... Due to new laws my mini has to go MOT now. That means it Will need arches and i have some wood and picket arches on the shelf for years and years. ( Crap fit things)

I was thinking to sandwich them between the lip and a metal strip instead of just screwing with washers. To spread the load at max.

But that still does not make me feel okay with the fit. Because the Gap in places on top. They are pretty thin on the top side so bonding with polymer glue wont Do the Trick i think.

Anny ideas here?

Bonding small bolts in and fix them like sportpark arches would work on front but would proof a hell on the back. + No room for error.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

Mine have had three screws in the lip for 10 years. They have been ok

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!
