Need help id this engine. Supposed to be the correct engine for the MK2 mini it Came with.

Note. No hole for fuell pump. Came does have a lobe for it.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

so.. my 998 Mk2 original engine

came with a pin drive cam without the fuel pump lobe
came with an engine without a fuel pump hole (the mk2 had an electric SU pump on rear sub frame)
The head had the same retainers as shown on the valves in your picture.

I'm sure a google will help with the engine number and head casting.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

Google didnt know it. Had to go deep into Paper archives. Ringmaps filled with tekst.and it aperently is An innocenty engine.
Gearbox number is a 3 syncro.
The only thing not yet clear is the cam.
