ive tryed angel grinder but finding it hard to get into some of areas.
also whats the best to cover it with until i get the car sprayed

unfortunatly lanxter paper is the only way. Using a grinder could end up causing more trouble and more holes! Sometimes if the rust patch is only surface then an electrical orbital sander will do the trick, otherways, its just braun n patience! As for covering buy yourself a spray can from halfords of any colour. Try not to use primer because primer is porus and will let the water through.

it may b small but it purfectly formed

I found a thing called a Monti (sp?) brush works well. Fits in an electric drill. There's one with angled bristles that cleans or polishes depending which direction you run it.

Available from Frost

2 ways i use no1 is wire wheel on a drill and no2 is you can get wire wheels which fit onto your angle grinder and i find these are very effective if you have acess to a compressor sand blastings probably better. then treat it with rust killer, then paint *smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

sorry cant agree on that! grinding the rust away is the only way of preventing it coming back if yo make the hole bigger thats generally because it was that big anyway, i usually use a knotted cup brush or 115mm flap wheel as these are less aggressive than a grinding disc and only slightly more work to use
