So i have full SD cage fitted into my mini now.. offering up the dash bar that came with it, i understand this part is offereded by SD as a universal fit for all there cages. You open up the brackets fit them to the 'a' post of the cage, cut to length and drill holes... that would work if the cage was at 90° to bar but its not, the legs angle slightly enough so that if both brackets were fitted they would be aiming slightly down and not at each other!?

Sorry if this doesnt make sense but to those who have done this job im sure you'll get me.. so any help or tips of how youve done it?

Slacken the cage off its mounting bolts, get the bar level and where you need it, tighten this first then the rest. It maybe just that it's slightly out from the jig. Pictures would be helpful if you have any?
