I've got an MED Piper 310 SP camshaft, with 107 stamped on the end. I would normally time 1 degree less allowing for chain stretch, but just wondering what does anyone else do ?

On my last build I did the timing with the head and valve gear on, so that the chain was loaded up when rotating the assembly. Found this made a difference of 1 to 2 degrees. This was with new gears and Irwin double chain.
