Alright folks,

I'm new to the forum so this is my cherry popping first post so be gentle.

I have just bought a Japanese import SPI auto. I had to get an auto cause of my gimp leg. I seen on another mini forum a recommendation to this forum in response to a question I posted.

I'm hoping to learn about mini tuning and turbo charging.

I keep reading that S/MPIs are rubbish for tuning due to the limitations of MEMs and the lack of aftermarket ECUs of SPIs.

So I was told this was the place to come.

Does anyone have a guide to do a conversion to a carb or can you turbo charge an SPI?

Welcome to the forum.
There is a plethora of information on this forum, covered in depth with numerous members pushing the A series boundaries and sharing their findings. Brew up and hit the search button.
