I pray and hope all you gentlemen are keeping safe and well??

Right the reason I got your attention.... NO I HAVE NOT FOUND NEW SEX TOYS ON EBAY.

So me and Phil was chatting the other day about how, this place was the place to be, and how it was like tinder for fast mini car guys..😂 before fb killed it!

And the idea was floated about maybe setting something up, where the old and bold come together for a day /night of silly chat, cars, boost, RR, beers, meat maybe even some track time 👌

I am happy to set this up if there is interest But we will be looking at next year 2021, because of well we will not go into that on here 😂 but this should give some of you boys time to build + test + blow it up + build it again.

Dates, times, cars, stuff like will came later..


Come on guys let’s get behind this, or tell me I am on crack minis are dead 💀

I want to keep this off Fb,Insta,grinder, tinder, titter and go back to grass roots TM.

Let’s start with a bit of a Roll Call, post a picture of your car no matter what condition it’s in to see what’s still sat around.

I'd be up for it! I'll try and post a picture later. Done half hour on the mini today. Oil feed and inlet/carb on whilst my 4 year old ran around outside.

I'd be well up for this. Barring any catastropic first start/dyno incident mine shold be good to go within 3 months.

I'm up for this. Hopefully have the mini rebuilt in time. 🤣

iirc it has to be labled image.jpg, most phones call them image.JPG
that was always my issue anyway

Thanks brett just tried with your advice but its lower case jpg

There’s an add attachments link, just click on it and it lets you select a thumbnail from your phone.
It would be great to do another rolling road day, hopefully there’s enough interest in doing it.

I come along for the beet, no turbo's probably though for me.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

That is what im using but just resets rather than upload

This causes me ball ache too, I can only post a thumbnail off of my iPad not laptop.

would love to do this if you will have me! Would be great to meet some of you turbo wizards! No turbos but the 16valver should be done by then. I can’t claim to be part of the original crew though so no worries if it becomes a more select group👍

Great idea. I've never really had much worth contributing here, mainly because I don't know as much as some of you guys but I've always enjoyed a read of the articles and following build threads.

I don't use social media, so this is my only source of fast, well build minis. I would be up for something, 2021 is ideal. Gives me time to sort bits and book somewhere to stay. Id be coming in my MK2.

Rolling road in quarter 1
Santa Pod quarter 2
Castle Combe track day quarter 3
Pub meet quarter 4 merry Christmas

Ok so a little back ground.

Me, Alex (TcK), Phil have something we have been chatting about.

But we need to wait to the uk opens up, to start making calls.

Rest assured lads if we can pull it off it could be a cracking weekend.

I posted this to see if there was still lads out there playing minis.

I found out the other day that Blyton Park do 'club days' Basically you pay them about 3 grand and they organise a track day for you. If you wanted to go down the track route that could be an option. (I'd be well up for track based activities)

Rolling road day should be easy enough too considering we have a few rolling roads between us no?
