Hi guys,

Because my MG Metro turbo engined Mini was not running well I took it to a mini specialist who overhauled the carb, tried some needles and Adjusted until it ran good. All fine, me happy, but there is one issue.
I have Metro Turbo Clocks and now my Turbo Boost Gauge doesn’t work anymore.
How is it actuated and where should I start searching for the problem.

Cheers
Greets from Holland

It is powered by the boost modulator ECU, which has a boost sensing hose that normally connects to the same line as the fuel pressure regulator sensing hose from the plenum chamber.

Do you mean this piece?
When I touched it softly the green wire came loose.

That's the carb vent valve. Nothing to do with the boost gauge, and not worth refitting if it's broken. Just blank off its connection on the carb.

Thanks for that.
What does it do exactly?

Supposed to stop the engine running on when you switch off. As you switch off it opens and vents the carb, same effect as flooring the throttle as you turn off.

Thanks guys.
Mine seems unfixable, and I believe the originals are not available anymore, does someone have one laying around? Or are there good but not too expensive alternatives around?
