Fusion fab exhaust manifold with GT17- Stud specific question

I just received a fusion fab turbo manifold along with a Saab spec Gt17...

The manifold has 8mm stud threads, and the exhuast housing of the turbo also has threads in it.

Has anyone else jus drilled out the threads in the turbo housing?

My main concern in the stud on the lower RHS, the flange of the turbo runs very close to the exhaust scroll, so no clearance to get a bolt in there.

What solutions has everyone else come up with?

I used studs screwed into the turbo housing and drilled out the manifold holes. Had to do a bit of fettling of the manifold to get the nuts on.

I had trouble too I relieved the turbo housing to allow the tightest nut to fit and iirc the rest were studs it takes a bit of a good looking at to get your head round it but it does go together 😂
