Hi, I need to bring my CR down and am thinking about using a 2mm thick MLS gasket.

it will work, but ieally you want to keep the pistons within a certain distance of the head to retain a decent squish.

ah, ok, at the moment the pistons stand 0,35mm below the block and head volume is 21,4cc.

turbo phil has got some vids up on head mods, I waoud say a clean up and then some deshrouding around the edges, and cutting back should get you there.
