Plymouth, On the floating skip known as HMS Albion

Hi i've just recently purchased a metro turbo which im planning on using as a donor for my mini.
The engine has been recently rebuilt and has the following fitted, 1.5 full roller rockers, block bored to 1293cc fitted with omega pistons, avonbar phase 2 turbo cam, minispeed turbo head and rs turbo intercooler.
The engine idles just fine but when placed under load above 2,000 rpm or rev'd hard while stationary it cuts out as if suffering from fuel starvation. The clear fuel filter just before the pressure regulator appears to have air trapped in it as its only half fuel of fuel even though the pump is running.
The previous owner said he didnt adjust the pressure regulator and that the fuel kept becoming blocked!?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Lee

Do a search for tee-piece trick on this site. Highly likely that'll solve the problem.

As I suggested, use the search button on the upper left side of the page... *wink*

The above will explain what usually happens, why it does what it does, and what you can do to cure it with a simple 1/4" tee-piece.
