hi every one i have been on the mini scene for a couple of years now and have just stumbled accross your site.

i was thinking of installing a metro turbo into my 1988 mini jet black but as far have had no joy in finding a donor engine i have seen somp people on here have turbo'd 998s i was just wondering if it would be ok to do it to an 1098 as im pretty sure these are running a compression ratio of arround8.5-1 which would be ideal.???????

any advice on doing this would be appreciated

steel flip front, fiberglass bonnet with 4 lamp pod and vents, tinted windows, 13"revos, 6point cage, recaros, harnesses, custom abs dash, twin exit exhaust, chrome bumpers, chrome grill,electric blue carpet, group6 arches, clear lights, push button start, flaming cooper laurels on front screen, mini wings logo on rear screen, custom dash clocks from a mg of some sort, and soon to have a car pc and a 998 or 1098 turbo

hi, whist looking yesterday there was 2 metro turbo engines on ebay, or why dont you try a A+ 1275 and go from there

i have been looking at these engines but they are too far away from me for me to collect and they wont offer courier and the one that is near me has been used in an autograsser so would most proberly need a full rebuild anyway and i would much prefer to make something a bit different as i like the idea of getting as much power from a lil engine as i can.
