Welcome to the forum.
Have a search for Megojolt ignition or something simular, it's affordable and much better then original distributor.
I think most have ditched the exu and selenoid anyway.

You don’t need the standard ECU and solenoid, this was just a device to control the boost, adjusting it above/below 4,500rpm. It had no bearing on the ignition.
As suggested above, you’re much better off buying a fully programmable ECU to control the ignition, this is far superior to an old clockwork distributor.

Thanks for the advice guys, now onto the next set of questions lol

Been looking at megajolt set ups and im confused when it comes to the options list, its asking what ecu version i want i guess that would be map sensor ? as i don't have throttle position sensor on the carb setup.

Heres the one i was looking at is this correct ??

Also do they come with any base map to get you running or does it all need to be set up professionally

Sorry for all the questions i just want to get it right is all

Yes you would need a MAP version.

I think there are some ignition maps to be found on this website; have a search. Dependent on your build probably best to spend a bit extra and get it properly set up.
