Thought I'd start a new thread, maybe it will stop the confusion I started..
So the (two) 8V heads have been bored for dry deck nipples, both have end plates welded in, one has been welded for dry decking, as well as some in chamber reliefs around the valves and a bit of gas flowing the inlet and exhausts. This head is around 10 thou bowed, so now I have my block studs in the next job I guess is to try to pull it flat, with the air of some heat, before I skim it.
Thoughts have turned to things like exhaust manifolds - has anyone modified an lcb to add an extra branch and y into the middle pipe?
