Contrary to popular beleif - I am not dead ....
I even have a new lady friend !!

Anyhow ....

I am taking my TurboMini to the LSMOC rolling Road Shoot Out :)
Shame its not set up properly anymore *angry*

Going to play with some needles tomorow and my gunsons gas analyser (*blush* - Yes it was me that bought it *smiley* ) and see what set up works best for zooming along the lanes

I am not sure if it goes in the magazines or not but I will be sure to say Thank you very much to

BACK !!

Well
After rebuilding my Carb ; Fixing the manifold gasket ; using my BBC needle ; and setting idle to 5.5 CO ( with my gunsons !! - taking no risks ) 10PSI Boost

I only managed a measly 88 at the fly wheel which was 70 at the wheels

POOOOOO

Their RR setup at minispeed was superb ; and I will be going back to sort my car out once and for all

The chap said that it was running very safely and my engine was in no risj ( pinking etc ) said it could benefit from being slightly more advanced as well

Anyhow to conclude I need to go back om the rollers but it is good to know that all is safe and sound so I thrashed the little bugger back round the M25 on the way home safely knowing meltdown was not just around the corner !!!

anyone interested in seeing the print out ?

god im wrecking so many posts

you should make more power than that though, is it just poor setup holding it back?

Don't think its the rollers just rumours about the operators. guess there are good and bad everywhere though.

it did lose much on the transmission?

Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

I remeber going their with a friend in his 1996 Cooper...

The RR opperator was obsessed with filling it a new needle... even thou he'd had his head under the bonnet and COMMENTED on the fact it was a Spi mini
