Sold a new 1380 engine yesterday did have omegas with 11cc dish

Bloke rings up today says it's been decked as the pistons he has just bought (power max ??) stick 2mm out the top of the bores

Can anyone enlighten me .could it be rods*crying*

Nope, cannot be the rods... Not that much.
Could it be that the crank has a longer stroke?

The solution is to fit some 1430 pistons as these have a shorter wrist pin to crown distance.

Thinking it may have had these fitted now

73.5mm 11cc dish 1.426 Lowered compression height

Whats the normal Hieght ???

problem solved

Measured a std turbo piston 1.515" ish .090" diff so the low hieght omegas should be .010" down the bore

Update...........

Get an email from the bloke I sold it to,he reckons with wolfies(ex) low hieght omegas in they are 3-4 mm down the bore on tdc.

The only thing I can think of now is the normal hieght piston on rod that was tried in it was a cooper 1071 rod or something longer than std,as the crank was factory on std size bearings so couldn't have been stroked

So I may as well get it back as 11cc + the 4mm down the bore will be a pretty good c/r

Pretty bad for combustion though...

1071 rods are the same length as 1275 rods, AND these will not fit a standard 1275 crank as the big ends are smaller.
Why not measure something.... Measure the height of the block, the stroke and the piston height.

Measure for fucks sake!!!!
