Time for a reality check.

I have Iain's old mini - the very nice yellow one. Currently running a Mg metro engine
It is fully plumbed ready for turbo - fuel system, turbo box etc.
I also have a metro turbo engine. Albeit in a few bits, mainly the ancilliaries that are seperate.

The idea was to put it all back together and returbo the yellow beast.

However due to lack of time and (i'll be honest) knowhow I find myself unable to finish it.

Is there anybody out there that is able to finish this off for me??
How much would someone charge to do this??

Any help/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Keith, a plan for you:

Ive got the fully running van engine, intercooler, dump valve the lot. I could fit that as an exchange unit? Reckon i could have you up and running in a weekend tops. Ive got a week off the one after next so could have it all done by then.

Just a thought. You can test drive the van beforehand aswell. its a good engine as you'll see.

Have you started taking the yellow one to pieces yet? Is it still driveable? Make things easier thats all but trailer collection isnt a problem.

Alright keith i can vouch for iains van, its a great motor!!

Mind you, you could always fall back on my 1380 thats slowly coming back together...........
