alright guys.
I havn't been on here much recently because of work and mini comitments, but i am now in need of help.

I need some new brake lines for inside the engine bay (all lines needed). what is the best option to go for std pipe or braided and where is the best place to get it.

For anything other than an out and out race car, copper pipe is adequate really.

Also if you look at the price of aeroquip /per metre and also the cost of the fittings I expect that will soon put you off full braided.

Std copper pipe (3/16") and unions (7/16"UNF) will be available from any motor factor worth their salt. You then need a flaring tool. The other option is to buy a ready made kit, but you still need to bend the pipes to suit.

copper pipe on e bay well cheap,I got a roll at blunsdon before it shut and it was double for the same make.

flaring tool Draper machine mart and a bending tool


Metro turbo weekend driver,Mini turbo in the making again!
