I got an engine off ebay the other day. Just wondering what you lot think? Its only a bit of metal. If it blows it blows!

Why would you buy that, you told us previously that you had a full spec engine already??

Sprints, hill climbs, 1/4 mile. Want to do extreem mighty minis with it as well.

Looking at the chart mine is a na 1275 crank. Do you think it will hold up? Its only a bit of metal. If it blows it blows!

I never spotted anything Ebay like that?...So you want an a road car that you you will hillclimb,sprint,drag race and do xtreme mighty mini!..sounds like you are gonna be a busy boy!

Who did the 4 bolt centre main on your other engine then? I have not seen photos of any other ones done, the one on my engine looks like this-

I only got it for the head, pistons, turbo, carb and gearbox which is all unused. I striped it all down, and it a aint seized anyway, but I don't think I'll use the block as its a linned one so thats going in the skip tomorrow along with the crank. Its only a bit of metal. If it blows it blows!
