whats the max power an orange spring can take and is it worth fitting a grey anyway on a turbo motor?

It is not power that makes the clutch slip, it is torque capacity of the clutch that you need to consider.
I think the majority of people use a grey on the more tuned cars, depends on what spec you are running and what boost pressure you intend to run.

theres no harm in fitting a grey to a 'mid range' motor of around 90-120bhp?

If it's not setup correctly it'll eat the thrustwashers ofr brunch.

You should always fit the "softest" clutchspring that gets the job done. Unfortunately, clutch plates are like hp. The bigger the better....

I.ve been thinking about this recently, and Im wondering if verto clutches might be the way forward for all out turbo motors, from a thrust washer longevity point of view.

Someone mentioned Stuart Gurr does uprated verto bits, does any one know what clamping pressure they have?

120 lb ft wasn't it?

The verto 'style' with the long finger diaphram is deffo the way to go, but the verto itself is not...
Stuff is in the pipeline, as the nights draw in i'll no doubt find time to finish what i'm halfway through designing...
