What thickness/type of stainless steel tubing should I use to make my custom exhaust manifold and downpipe?

i was recommended when i was going to make my own turbo manifold to use at least 16 gauge stainless. This was from a place called Primary Designs in Oxfordshire who do it for a living and done the exhuasts for both the f1 cars i help look after.

1.5mm wall thickness should be fine.
Might be worth adding some extra bracing to support the weight of the turbo though at that thickness.

Most tubular Subaru, Nissan Evo etc manifolds are only about 1.5mm wall.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
