whats up with minispares at the moment?

I rang them at 5:25 monday evening and asked what calipers they had in stock the guy said they had the 4 pots for the 7.5 discs in all colours apart from black

i am having a few days off so took a drive out yesterday morning only to find out that they had none in stock not even purple, i have rung several times in the past and they never seem to stock anything, i really dont know how they survive if they treat customers like this

not long hopefully, im still waiting for mine to come back

i orderd some race valves of minispares north today and they had none in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

everthing i order these days they say.....

they are on back order ??????

i was told that most components at the moment made of metal !!! the waiting time for manufacture is ....getting worse

it seems the chinese! are taking ALL the steel etc production out of the uk on a massive scale!

same old minispares issues :(

ive always found minispares good, but ive also notices a lack of metal products! i did manage to get a set of ally 4 pots the other day from minispares north, which tbh i couldnt afford but i thought i better not pass them up. still waiting for them to get some more u/l flywheel in tho, and 4pin diffs are like hens teath!

business is booming and they cant /dont want to keep up.

i really cant beleve that everytime i ring they dont have what i want in stock if buisness really is booming then what are the odds of that?

its a shame they piss off people they seem to engineer very good products, but its no good engineering good products if you cant supply the end customer

I guess it's difficult to get stocks right, especially if you are having made relitively small quantities of specialist components which need batch ordering.

Lesson learned though Wolfie, if you are going to pick something up from them, pay for it over the phone and get it put to one side for collection. This is what I do.

if you need gearbox parts like beraings layshafts ect try dsn clasics they always have stuff in and post realey quick

have spoken to one of the managers there today
was all very civil and they have agreed to send me a pair out asap
seems that so far that they listen to your complaints

will see how it goes

I have just had my calipers delivered gold ones too!!!!!

although i did moan and imho quite rightly so credit where credit is due as they have been delivered as promised
