So then i need a cross pin diff? i gave minispares a call today and they havent got any in and wont have for a while. also minits dont have any tran x in stock. so what shall i do!!. do i have to wait. or where can i get one from. also what make/places shall i keep clear of. any info will be helpfull.

mike the one you want is the evolution diff 4 pin diff

minisport have these in stock

make sure you ask for the evolution diff over the phone as they try to sell you there own version around 145 quid inc vat

cheers for that. the evolution has got the bolt in type pins am i correct. cos the last diff i got off minisport had rollpins and it broke taking the gearbox and crank with it.

isn't it so that the Minsport one is 90 degrees apart. Dave previously todl us why this was a BAD idea.

The Minispares ones is FAR better then some others I've seen.

give MOSS a try, i managed to get 2 from them last time there was a diff shortage.

minispares have problems with diff's as they cant get hold of the gears since the demise of rover. I think they are still sourcing them ex-stock from suppliers rather than having them remade. Big waiting list, i had to wait 2 months this summer for mine. Make sure you get yours on order if you want it as they are coming in dribs and drabs at the moment.

How many of us could easilly put their hands on numerous planet wheels? I know i've got 8 sat in my geabox bits box, and another 7 gearboxes still complete...

got told the other day that 'rimmer bros' (triumph specialist based in lincoln) have supposedly bought out all rover spares stock

anyone else heard said rumour??

i managed to get a x pin from minispares north yesterday and they had another 3 in stock so hurry if you want one!
rich from minispares was telling me that their problem was with the company that do the molly coating. theres only 1 company that do it in the uk aparently, and they had to stop buisness to repair the roof of the factory which put all their buisness behind. sending the parts elswhere would requre a redesign as the only other company that could do it couldn't make the coating to the same thickness or something along those lines.

also i went in there stock room. i was like a kid in a sweet shop.
