s crank makes it easier as it has some nice bolt holes to help you mount it |

well, the problem is, due to the belt drive, there's no room behind the pulley for the trig wheel unless I space the pulley and damper out about 1/4" even then I'll have to machine the disc face to fit proper.

What does an S damper look like? Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

the dish in the S damper is about half as deep and a larger diameter, plus there is 4 polts sticking up where the damper and pully attach. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

This is a cooper damper machined for 36-1.

I'd say the 4 bolts make it much easier to go about mounting something than the normal pulley. If you can get hold of a blank undrilled trigger wheel, it would just be a case of drilling 4 holes on a PCD to match the damper bolts, then make 4 spacers sufficiently long to space the trigger wheel so it sits _just_ off the damper. Then bolt the lot up through your spacers and hey presto.......

Why not get a blank trigger disc and get it machined to fit the pully and weld it on the outside I did that with mine it was a dodle.

just out of interest, has anyone concidered using a fluidic damper rather than using the old rubber ones or a cooper s one? Surely the've gotta be better, dunno if its worth the cost though? Was thinking about making up my own hub for it integrating a trigger wheel. I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

Cheers for the input guys, I've got acces to a mill now so i'll macine them directly into the damper.
