right, i've asked a ghood few questions over the last few weeks and there are only going to be more as i move along swiftly, so i am just going to stick all of my questions in this thread whenever i need to ask something, this will prvent me clogging the help needed thread with all my problems.

Right now what i need to know is ....

If any, which one of these speedo senders is likely to fit/bodge onto the mini speedo cable (judging by the pictures?)
anyone care to hazard a guess?

what is it your trying to do? if your linking up a digital speedo you can get pick up kits that you can fit on hubs or brake drums etc.*smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

i did want to link up the digital speedo yeah, but arent the pick up kits you speak of for things like bike speedo's? the one i want is a bit more complicated :p has 0 - 60 timing, push button calibration etc etc, i assumed i would need a specific sender for it (all of which are listed on that link)?

find a company called speedy cables and phone them up, they will be able to make any cable you want eg the cable from the gearbox drive to the sender as long as you know the threads on the sender side of things

cheers guys, i'll get working on those ideas and see if anyone comes up trumps :)

my next question is about motorbike cans. Who was it on here that used to run one? I just want to know how it sounded and how it fit, at the moment i have one of these ...
but with 2 boxster style tailpipes, not entirely sure if they'll sound great so i am looking at other alternatives, motorbike can (carbon) would match my other carbon bits and be quite lightweight :)

could you link me to an example of that please?
i really am swaying away from my twin exit at the moment, probably end up with a single centre exit, i'm really tempted by the motorbike can though, i just cant remember who had it to ask, doh!

i had one on mine.....to be honest it felt a bit restrictive, and i couldn't hear any noise from it at all when in the car, that was before the s/c box aswell. I ran a 2" pipe from the turbo to the carbon micron race can, but i'm running one of those side exit stainless 3"tail jobbies from minimine now, sounds and feels much better now.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

here is my TALIBAN rocket launcher straight through no centre pipe at all straight from the turbo on 2" system into this

sounds fabolaaaa

i did use a maniflow back box 2" system but that strangled it mass!

you could see the large swirling exhaust
too restrictive on full boost

this does the job, its well over the top

2" entry to 2.5 " internall to 3" exit

made by maniflow 85 quid. made to my spec*wink*
