So the time is rapidly approaching for me to buy some gauges for my car. It will have a late-cooper type dash, so room for 3 off gauges in the centre.

I'd ideally like an oil pressure, oil temp, and boost gauge in there.

So here is the crunch, does anyone know of a company that makes the above gauges, I have the following criteria-

Oil Pressure must be a mechanical gauge, I don't trust sender units
Oil Pressure must also read in psi, NOT bar.
Boost Pressure ideally not to read more than +1.5bar, so as to get half decent resolution. Can be in bar or psi.
Oil Temp which do people think is better, mech or elec gauges
All of the above gauges must match one another.
Ideally with magnolia/white faces to match my speedo etc dials.

Any ideas?!

click here and scroll down a bit to the

a) Caerbont telkemetrix gauges

or if you are after something a little more classic looking, scroll down a bit further to the

b) Mocal classic white gauges

although i cant tell you if they are mechanical or not.
look good tho

I'v just had a quick look around to confirm, but you can get dule gauges for oil pressure and water temp. That way you can have 4 gauges in three holes.

Smiths do a lovely white range, but my favourite are the Racetech ones, only in black though.

Demontweeks (I know expensive) seem to have a good range, but the website is pants.

A quick scan from the catalogue (Big pictures)

Just a quick note. If all your gauges lookk the same it make the dash look lovely.

However, it's a bugger to know which one you are looking at, especuially when you ar driving fast.

Racetec my fave too.

Am keeping looking, would love Smiths ones but unfortunately they don't do a boost gauge. Racetech are OK but not in white as you say.
The Telematrix gauges look nice but oil pressure is in bar only.

At the moment the choice is looking like VDO, look great and fulfil most of my requirements, only problem is that they cost an arm and a leg.

Have you tries www.greengauges.com ? they do smiths style gauges but you can spec which ones, what colours and they do dual gauges like wil suggested. Not sure if they do a boost gauge, but they're very helpful and can do other gauges to the ones they list on the site.
