tryed looking in my hayns manual but nothing what would a 1098 a+ final drive be cheers

Depends on year and what size wheels it had fitted,whip the speedo drive cover of and count them

yep take the speedo drive cover off,you can then count the number of teeth on the small cog

the BIG & small gear you refer to are called the crownwheel & pinion for the final drive.

the larger one been the crownwheel

1098's are all 3.44 as far as i know...

If the engine is in the car, then you can make a mark on the road wheel and push the car in 4th gear for one revolution whilst counting the number of crankshaft revolutions. Not too hard if you get someone to help you!

so should i stick with the 3.2 or go for a 3.4 for better acceleration, what speed would i be doing tops on 13 inch wheels cheers
