Hi !
I´m in my fiesta conversion brake job.. hunting for Metro drive flanges, have found a pair but i dont know if it´s correct.

They are from a 1989 Metro city. Hell.. i haven´t seen a Metro in real life *blush* , ( they didn´t export them to Sweden!)

Is the flanges from this car same as a Mg Metro or ?.

Cheers mates

Best regards from Ola

hey a question i can answer!

yes! but you have to take the lugs off to fit (most?) mini wheels to them, i hack sawed mine off then finished with a grinder and hammerite. so the wheels fit on:)

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

Ola yes, there the same

if you ae going to use the compleate!

metro swivle hub the pre 83 ball joints are the same taper size as the mini

but beware this gives a camber of positive camber of 1 deg and you have to use negative camber arms to correct this

the 4 pots make a nice cheap braking system off a metro

good luck!

i have done this conversion, i used new mini discs and had em turned down presto ! i used the MK1 fiesta callipers they have awesome stopping power i rate em above the S ones, and u can fit most 10" wheels over them *wink*

edit:- should mention that they were onto a j reg mayfair i didnt change the drive shafts etc
