Hello all and welcome to TM's newest section!

A trend on the site in the past few months has been for more and more people to be either carrying out, or researching doing a 998 turbo conversion.

This section is to try and get all the info in one place, to make a good starting reference point, and to collate known issues/successes.

As a overview to people considering the 998 turbo route, you must bear in mind, that unlike the 1275 route which is well defined in terms of what parts to use etc, the 998 route is still quite new, and so as such there are no "hard and fast" rules or solutions as to what to use. A lot of it is down to experimentation and trying things out that may or may not work.

If this isn't really for you, I would think about the 1275 route, as this may be more straightforward for some folk. However, if you relish a challenge, why not try 998 turbo!

All the best!
