I'm interested in a weight comparison between the (MG Metro) 35.6mm inlet and the Sodium-cooled Ex. valve.

Weight comparisons need to include the relative collets and caps.

I'll be doing this over winter - but i'm just wondering how they compare... (for valve spring pre-load vs desired RPM limit) *wink*

Cheers Guys!

Be good to know the minimum poundage that we can run on springs with (known) valve masses, to prevent valve-bounce at what RPM's (and rocker arrangement)...

The less load on those cam followers the better eh!

good idea TD as we all now that some times thigs can get a bit overkill on the poundage.

the only problem i have met is not the pondage but the coils per inch on standard springs wont allow the use of high lift cams and and rockers together as i found out this year.

i use the 180 progressive ones from minispares which seem ok

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas
