hi ive had this head lying around in the garage for a while now the cast number is a 12g940 but is machined totaly flat across the top eg no cast marks around the thermostat housing it also has double valve springs and the plug thing under the thermostat and 11 stud holes can anyone help me it came out of a mini i striped years ago cheers Edited by minit3 on 8th Nov, 2005. |

This head will most likley have come from a 1300 GT like the old morris 1100 shape!

As it is machined flat across the thermo housing it is indeed an earlier head.

agreed tom, they are also far easier to port as well
